HOW TO: Use A Template

One of the BEST things about using the PS and PSP plugins is that you can use templates and create wonderful designs like if you were using Corel PSP.

There are many places on the internet that houses a host of lovely template designers for you to choose from. Search and grab a template that you like and want to use, then open the template in your program.

I'm using a template by Dee'Sign Depot.
Open the tube and match it with a kit of choice. This ensures you will not have to scrap the whole design if there is no forward thinking in the planning.

Below is a preview using a template by Leah at Gimptastic Tuts.

Open your first paper of choice and re-size to your needs. Add this above the chosen layer, like you would if adding layers.
Click on the original template layer with your magic wand, return to the paper layer, and hit delete on your keyboard. Now, the template layer is replaced with the new paper layer.
Do this with every last template layer until all original template layers are replaced. Delete the originals or hide them by un-checking the box next to the layer. I normally delete the layer so it doesn't over-crowd my layers box.

This is what I came up with, using the first template:
