Too Cute To Spook

Supplies Used

Inspiration font, here.
"Too Cute To Spook" by Soxsational Scraps, here.
Mask: mask 148 by Designs by Vaybs, here
 Animation Shop 3

Let's Begin!

Open a new canvas 750x750. Open paper 6, apply your mask, re-size by 85% and add to your canvas. Add a tight, medium drop shadow to your mask to set it out.

Open the cauldron, re-size by 75%, Use your colour picker to find the colour inside the cauldron and use your paintbrush to carefully rid yourself of the bubbles.

Add the cauldron to your canvas and move to the lower right hand side of the mask. Drop shadow to your liking.

Open Boo word art, re-size by 85% and add to canvas above cauldron. Add a wide, light drop shadow.

Open Spider web, add above mask layer, and move to the upper right hand side and drop shadow.

Open the cat, Up-size by 125%, add to canvas above spider web and mirror. Move into position and drop shadow lightly.

Crop to your liking now, so that your tag is the size you want it.

Let’s Animate!

Hide your word art layer and copy layers merged.

Paste as a new animation in Animation Shop 3. Duplicate your frame seven times.

While on the first frame of the seven frames: Edit > Select All > Copy > Edit > Paste > After Current frame. You’ll need 21 frames total.

Open your animation and, while on the first frame, Edit > Select All > Copy. Then go to Animation and scan down to “resize animation”. Click percentage of original and resize by 85%. Again, go to Edit > Select all > Copy.

Go to your design and, while on the first frame, Edit > Paste > Into selected Frame. Move the animation in the middle of the cauldron and click. It will then be in place in all frames.

Right click and scan down to “View Animation” to make sure it is to your liking and then Edit > Select All > Copy. Head back to PSP.

Paste as a new image in PSP. It will now have your bottom layer of design and the 21 layers of flame.

Hide all other layers in your original design and copy only the word art. Add this to the top of your current design and save this new design as “Too Cute to Spook”.

(NOTE: Saving it in this way ensures you can go back and not have to re-animate all over again.)

I rename all of my layers by number so that I know where I am at when I am placing again in animation shop.

Add your name now and copyright information.

Once completed, hide all animation layers except the bottom layer. While highlighting the top layer, copy all layers merged and add to animation shop as a new animation.

You will continue to do this until all 21 flame layers of the animation are now in order to your new animation in AS3.

Save, upload to Photobucket and enjoy!
