Animation Shop 3
♥ Let's Begin! ♥
We are going to go back old school and create a design with a swinging charm.
First, let's create a canvas that is 1000 x 1000 in size, to give us room to design.
Open the frame, resize by 45%, add it to the canvas and center align. Without removing the current frame resize, resize again by 80%, add it to the canvas and center align.
Using paper 1 after a 20% resize, add to the first frame opening. Using paper 3 after a 18% resize, add it to the second frame opening.
Open the tube, mirror and then add to the second frame.
Open flower 1, mirror and flip, then resize by 33% and position above the frame layer, making sure the corner of the rose touches the corner of the frame.
Again, with flower 1, resize by 27% and add above the frame layer.
Open the string flower, resize by 25% and add below the flower 1 layer. Do a different resize by 35% and add to the right side of flower 1.
Open the rose, resize by 22% and add below the string flower.
Open the leaves, resize by 30% and position them as shown. You can use your zoom/rotate option in the upper toolbar to complete this task.
Open flower 2, resize by 35% and then place above the leaves layer; undo resize. Flip to laying and resize by 20%; position as shown at the bottom of the design.
Open the word strip, resize by 55% and add near the second string flower.
Open the bow, resize by 60% and add above all layers, position.
Open the jewel charm and resize by 45% and add it to the top of the second frame layer. Add paper 3 to the center after a 12% resize, add a glass setting into the center of the jewel charm as well, then merge them all together.
Add another bow over the charm chain in the size you like; mirror before placement. Add both brushes in a size you like, but keep brush one (the lighter brush) smaller than the darker brush.
♥ Let's Animate ♥
Open Animation Shop 3.
Duplicate the charm layer for four layers (hide the bottom layer in case you need it later).
On the bottom two charm layers, add a zoom/rotate of 6.00 and -6.00; align the very top of each of these charm chains evenly.
Resize, add your name and copyright before adding this to AS3.
Hide the lower charm layers and Edit > Select All > Copy Merge > and then add to AS3 as a new image (this is the standard image). Open the charm's left hand swing and add after this layer into AS3. Go back to the standard image (first image) and add behind the left hand swing.
Unhide the right hand swing and add after the last added image in AS3. At this point, you can another standard image (first frame) if you want (I normally do).
If you right click on the images, and slide down to "View Animation," you will see that the charm swings fast.
In the upper toolbar, go to Edit > Select All and then right click in the image. Scan down to "Frame Properties" and change the setting to 25.
Again, to check the animation, repeat the "View Animation" tab. You will now see it is slower. Use whichever setting you like.
