Ring the Bells

Supplies Used

Dec 2015 Bonus by Maryline Cazenave (HERE)
Fan Freebie by Di Hiller (HERE)
Template by Dee (HERE)
Mask 154 by Cat (HERE)
“Ridiculous Font” (NAME)

 Let's Begin!

Open the template and resize the canvas to 800 widths (height will follow); delete copyright for now. Open paper 1, resize by 20% and replace the green oval layer.

Open paper 2, resize by 20% and replace the green square layer. Open paper 6, resize by 20% and replace the red circle. Open paper 3, resize by 20% and replace the white rectangle layer.

Open the pine branch, resize by 50% and add below the bulb shadow layer. Open both of the laces and add them into one element; merge and then resize by 30%. I added this under the pink branch, evening up the top with the middle of the branch and then removed the brackets around the element. This cuts it off on the right side so that I can move it toward the left.

Open the berry border, resize by 20% and add above the pine branch. Open the poinsettia, resize by 10%, mirror and then add above the bulb layer. Undo the resize and do so again by 15%; add this above the other flower layer.

Open the wood bit and erase all of the chain before cropping; resize by 25% and add above the bulb layer. Open the bells, resize by 15% and add below the bulb layer.

Duplicate the smaller poinsettia, mirror and move to above the bells and position. Open the berries element, resize by 30% and add above the bulb layer. Add one to each side of the flowers, slightly turning each time to fit design. Add two above the berries border layer, turning slightly to fit the design.

Open the bells again, resize by 20%, erase the largest bell, and add to the left of the last bell layer. Duplicate the largest poinsettia and move below the bulb shadow layer; position.

Now, erase everything that shows inside of the bulb itself and lower the shadow opacity to 180. Delete all word art and stars.

Open paper 5, resize by 20% and apply a circle mask. Since Cat is no longer hosting a website, I added it for your download above. Please remember that I take NO CREDIT in the creating of the mask itself. I pulled my mask outward into an oval to suit my needs.

Add the tube to below the bulb layer, mirror and then position to your liking. Erase everything outside of the bulb before using your drop shadow.

Crop as close as you can to the mask layer and resize, if needed, before adding your name and copyright. Upload to enjoy.
