♥ Let’s begin! ♥
Open a new canvas 700x350. Open Paper3-GI_BadDivaKit from “Bad Diva” and add to canvas.
Open Sign1-GI_BadDivaKit and add to the left hand side of your mask. Do not re-size.
Open FrameGreenbyJWs-GI_BadDivaAddOnKit and re-size mine by 85%. Add to the left hand side of your canvas, above your paper layer.
Open GemRed-GI_BadDivaAddOnKit, re-size by 45% and add a few to the left side that’s not covered by the sign. Duplicate and mirror. Keep duplicating and moving down until all spots on the right side are covered. Erase any that overlap. Merge all layers together and rename dots.
Open Razer2TubedByJWs-GI_BadDivaKit and free rotate by 15 degrees to the left. Move into position.
Open RibbonSideWrapRed-GI_BadDivaAddOnKit, and re-size by 45% and position near the top of the first hole in the razor. Merge bow and razor together after you drop shadow.
Using your rectangle tool, create a new layer in between the frame and the right edge of the canvas. In your Materials box, set your pattern to “diamond plate” and size 34. Select All > Float > Defloat > add a new layer > flood fill with pattern > select none. Move below the frame.
Duplicate the steel plate. On your copy:
Once the settings are applied, change your layer setting to overlay.
Add your second close up tube below your frame layer, re-size to the size needed and then drop shadow.
Arrange two layers near each other in your layers box: Top layer is your tube layer and the second layer is your “bowed razor” layer.
♥ Let’s Animate! ♥
Hide your top two layers—tube and bowed razor.
Copy all layers merged and then add in AS3.
Add in AS3 five times. Then Edit > Select all > Copy and add until you have 20 layers.
Open your animation and delete the last frame. Edit > Select All > Animation > Mirror. This will reverse the animation so it shows up the way I wanted it.
While on the first frame: Edit > Select All > Right click > into frame. You may have to move upward to see the animation. When you do, position it where you feel your bowed razor is.
Now, click on the first frame and Edit > Select All > right click > copy. Return to PSP and right click to bring up the following box:
Once added in PSP, you’ll see it in layers called “frames”. This is
normal. I usually rename each of them with each frame number (1-20 here) so
that I know where I am when I go back to AS3.
Hide all layers but the top two you hid in the beginning. While on the top
layer, copy these layers merged and add to your new design. Rename the new
design “No Hope Animation” and save.
NOTE: Do NOT merge any layers together!! In this way, you can
change your name layer out for later multiple name usage.
Working up in your layers box, hide all in order and add – in order – in
AS3. Do this until all 20 layers in AS3.
click on the first frame of your design and hit shift >z. This will
bring up your Optimization wizard. Apply your settings.
Save to Photobucket and enjoy!
