Drifting Away

♥ Supplies Used ♥

2-3 tubes of choice
(by the same designer)
“Summer Daydreams” by Donakat (HERE
“Angel Baby” (Name)
Mask by Dee Mastrangelo (HERE)
Eye Candy Bevel
Animation Shop 3

♥ Let's Begin! ♥

Open paper 4, re-size by 25% and apply the mask. Add a new layer, flood-fill white and send to the bottom; center mask and lower opacity to 200.

Open the frame, re-size by 30% and add to the middle of the canvas.

Open paper 2, re-size by 25% and add below the frame layer then remove excess.

Open the banner, re-size by 43% and add above the frame layer; with a light eraser, remove some of the bow ties.

Open the middle tube, choose your layers then image > Flatten. Add this to the middle of the frame layer (choose do not resize canvas) and make a popping tube. (Resize slightly if it fills too much of the centre space)

Open your ends tube(s) and re-size until they fill 90% of the space. Since each tube is differently sized, you’ll need to figure this out.

Open the fern leaf, re-size by 20% and then add above the mask layer (rotate slightly) before DS. Duplicate, mirror, flip and position.

Open the pinwheel, re-size by 600 height, and add above the lower leaf layer. Do nothing for now.

Open the cards, slightly erase the ribbon and then re-size by 25% before adding to the design.

Open the button, re-size by 45% and add above the cards layer.

Open flower 1, flip, re-size by 25% and add above both leaf layers.

Open flower 3, re-size by 20% and add above the frame layer; add in two places. Re-size the FS image again by 45% and add to the lower left above mask layer. DS, duplicate, mirror, flip and then position on the RT side.

Open flower 1 again, re-size by 35% and add above the banner layer; position. Add two layers of fern at 35% then merge layers.

Open flower 2, re-size by 30% and place above the mask layer; move upward near the pinwheel.

Open the book stack, re-size by 25% and add above the flower 3 RT layer. Use a light eraser to remove excess.

Add any special touches now. (I added a few more flowers and leaf) Save now for a static tag. Remember your name and copyright information after you re-size.

Lets’ animate!

Duplicate the pinwheel layer the erase the stick from the duplicated layer and the pinwheel from the lower.
On the stick layer, DS and then duplicate the wheel part for three layers. Name then wheel 1, 2 & 3 so that you know where you are when we animate.

Now, this takes a little more concentration than most of my tuts but well worth the effect.

On wheel 3 layer, rotate by -20.00 and then manually place it back on the stick. If you leave the wheel 2 layer open, you can gauge the location better. Do the same with the last layer.

(Make sure your pinwheel looks like a multi-layered flower) Sometimes you’ll have to go back and slightly edit the wheel.

Once completed, Drop shadow each layer (mirror the middle layer before DS) and then save. You’ll never have to do it again! LOL

Add each layer into AS3, one behind the other. Edit > Select All > Frame Properties > 25 > ok. Apply optimisation settings and save.
