Christmas Cheer

Supplies Used

 “Christmas Cheer” by Horseplay (HERE)
 “LillyBelle” (Name)
Mask 203 by Gem (HERE)
Animation Shop 3
Eye Candy Bevel

Lets’ Begin!

Upsize mask to 795 widths.

Open paper 4, re-size to 900 x 900 and apply the mask. Add a new layer, flood-fill white and send to the bottom; save.

Open the frame EL20 and add to the middle of the canvas. Erase the protruding ribbon, both inside and out.

Add paper 16 to frame opening and add a chosen light string at the top of the frame.

Add the green tree above the frame layer to the position.

Open each of the ornaments, re-size by 20% and decorate the tree.

Open box of choice, re-size by 75% and add to the top of the tree.

Open El10 (Santa), re-size by 90% and add to the canvas.

Add the snow (EL42) and train above the Santa and position. Make sure the train is centred in the snow (if you go on to animate).

Add the two presents in various sizes below the train layer.

Open the bottle (EL45), add behind the frame (to the left) and some berries (EL72) to the right.

Open the gingerbread man of your choice, re-size by 65% and add above the largest present to the position.

Add any special touches now; then Crop/re-size to your liking. If you want static, stop here. Add your name and copyright information then upload to a photo sharing site to enjoy.

Lets’ Begin!

Open animation shop 3.

Highlight the train layer. Duplicate once and hide original. You’ll need it later.

On the second layer: Go to effects > Layers > rotate/zoom > use the setting below > ok.

Duplicate this layer and use the same settings again. You’ll need 3 layers going right.

Return to the original and check. Use the same settings as you used above, except -0.50 each time, which will take the train backwards.

Line up each of the layers needed in your layers box. See mine below as an example.

Remember: the middle layer is half of the train on the left and right almost equally.

Add each one in order back in AS3. Edit > Select all > Animation > Frame properties > 45 > ok.

Add the optimisation settings, save and upload.
