Eye Candy 5: Bevel

Let's Begin!

Create a canvas 900 x 900. Use paper 4, and apply mask; resize to 800 widths when complete and add to the canvas; center.

Warp the mask by pulling at the sides and squishing it into an oblong shape. Duplicate mask and merge together to darken.

Open the film frame, crop out one single frame and then re-size by 35%; add mask layer. Duplicate and mirror, then merge the layers together.

Open tape 2, resize by 15% and add in two places on the film frame.

Open the camera and resize by 27% and add to the canvas; center manually.

Open the two labels used, and crop out each individual word. Resize “my” by 40%; “favourite”, “snapshot”, “you”, “me”, and “us” by 35% then arrange how you see it in the design.

Find three tubes of your choice by your favourite designer. Resize as needed, trying to fill the whole frame opening. Duplicate each image to add to the opposite side.

Duplicate the tube images, add penta jeans to each of the duplicates and drop the opacity to 200; do not merge together.

Drop shadow everything to your liking. Add your own personal touches now.

Crop/resize to your liking then add your name with copyright.

Let's Begin!

Open the spotlight tube and duplicate to make three.

You will need three images so create those in PDN. Make sure you rotate the tube images one at a time as I did. Add each of these one at a time in AS3.

Go back to the way the design was in the second image and hold this for now.

In AS3: Edit > Select All > Edit > Paste > Into Selected Frame> and position over the camera’s flash.

You’ll see it in all three images. Delete the middle image and add a new image from PDN. To do this, right-click on the last image > paste > before current frame > and now it is inserted into the line of images.

Edit > Select all > right click to get drop down boxes > frame properties > 50 > ok.

Edit > Select all > shift + z to apply optimization settings. Save.

Upload to a photo sharing site to enjoy.
