HOW TO: Add Text

Open your image or design of choice. In your Layers Box, add a new layer above all layers before proceeding.
I have a design that I will be using that is already set up and ready for my text. This is it below:
I have already added a new layer in my layers box in preparation for my text.
In your side toolbar, find the text icon:
Once you click the "T," these drop-down boxes will show up (below). The first drop-down menu gives you all of the fonts installed on your computer. The second drop-down box will determine the size of your text on your design.
Use outline, drop shadow and a bevel to complete the look. And now you have added text to a design!

There are many ways to add different styles of text, called Text Formations, such as a circle text. These can be found under Effects in the upper toolbar after you download the plugin HERE. Scan down to the middle of the page to find it.
Click Circle Text and this box pops up:
Type in your text and move any slider to change the way the text looks. But it will type out in a circle no matter what slider you move (but it may be off-sided, depending on your settings).
When you click on "Rotate Text," another box similar to the one above. You have four different spaces to add text and sliders to determine how it looks.

Here is what I did (please keep in mind the box is too big to screenshot fully):
And this is what the text looks like:
If you select "Spiral Text," another box similar to both previous boxes pops up. The top portion of the box looks more like the Circle Text box, as it has one opening to add text and not several empty boxes.

This is what the box looks like and what I did with the sliders (please keep in mind this box is also too big to screenshot):
And this is what my looks like:
You can change whether the text is at the top or bottom by changing the pitch. And you can make this into a full-blown spiral text if you keep adding repeats to the text. It can also become a semi-circle for one side of your design as well. It just simply all depends on you!
