America the Beautiful

 Supplies Used

All American Girl by Keith Garvey, HERE
“Arkhive” by Misti, here
“America” by Jiovanna’s Creations, here
"Mask 33” by Aqua, HERE

 Let's Begin!

Open paper 4, resize by 25%, and apply your mask. Erase all of the excess around your mask.

Add a new layer above your mask layer, flood-fill white and send to the bottom. Name and save as a *psd.

Open the star and up-size by 165%, and add above your mask layer. Flip and then align your star.

Undo your up-size and do it again by 145%. Add this above your star 1 layer and flip then align.

Undo your up-size and do it one more time at 125%.  Add above your star 2 layer, flip and then align.

Open your tube and upsize by 115%. Add above your star 3 layer and pull to the right side.

Open the rosette and resize by 13%. Add above your tube layer and center near the bottom of her legs.

Open flower 1 and resize by 30%. Add above your tube layer (left) then duplicate and mirror for the right hand side. Merge the two layers together.

Open flower 2, resize by 25% and do the same as stated above.  Merge the layers together.

Move your mask layer manually to center it around your design. Object align will not work here.

Drop Shadow layers, crop or resize to your liking then add your name with copyright.

 Lets’ Animate!

Open AS3.

Hide all layers but star layer 1. Edit > Select All > Edit > Copy merged and add as your first frame in AS3.

Working backward, do the star layers in order but add an extra star layer 3 at the end. This means: one star 3 layer at the beginning; one at the end. This let’s star layer 3 animation last a little longer.

Once added, click on first frame and Edit > Select all > Animation > Frame Properties > 25 > Ok.

Click on first frame again Edit > Select all > Shift + z to add your optimization settings.

Upload to a photo sharing site to enjoy.
