Mask of choice
♥ Let's Begin! ♥
Before you start, check the tube image and re-build it to the specs I used.
Create a canvas 1000x1000. Name and save as a *psd.
Create another canvas 900x900, flood fill with 445f99 colour, add blinds (see below) and then apply your mask before adding to your first canvas. Once you have completed your design, resize the mask layers so that it only slightly extends past your design to your liking.
Duplicate the mask layer: On the top layer, set to soft light and on the bottom layer, lower opacity to 75%.
Open the frame (el02), resize by 45% and add more left than right. Add above the mask layers. Open your paper of choice and resize by 15%. Expand the frame opening by 9 and add your paper.
Add the standing tube to the right of the frame.
Open the daisy (el25), resize by 15% and add below your frame paper and pull to the upper left-hand corner.
Open the leaves (el13), resize by 35% and add randomly above the mask layers and around the flower. Rotate, flip or mirror to suit your needs. Merge together after you’ve drop shadowed the element and add elsewhere if you so choose.
Open the lollipop (el24), resize by 35% and add above your frame layer.
Open the candy cane (el10), rotate by 36 degrees (right), then resize by 65% before positioning.
Open the pine branch (el03), rotate to standing, resize by 55% and free rotate 9 to the left.
Open the blue cardboard flower (el11), resize by 20% and then add above the candy layer and position.
Open the painted pine cone bottom (el15), resize by 25%, add above the light pink flowers layer and position.
Open blue flower (el12), flip, mirror and then resize by 20%, before adding above the branch layer, near the candy cane.
Open the light blue bow (el14), resize by 45% and position the knot just left of the tube’s legs.
Duplicate your daisy layer, flip, mirror and then position near the tubes legs. Erase excess of legs form under the bow.
Open the glow (el04), resize by 70% and add above the frame layer. I lightly shadowed mine with a wide blur.
Re-Positon elements to your liking; Drop Shadow layers, crop or resize to your liking then add your name with copyright. Upload to a photo sharing site to enjoy.
