Pucker Up, Buttercup

Penta Colour Dot

Create a canvas 1000 x 1000. We can always crop and resize later.

Open template 3, resize the canvas to 1000 widths (height will follow), delete the copyright layer, delete the lower pink hearts layer, delete the upper purple hearts layer, delete the purple lips layer, flood-fill the background again and save under the new filename.

Open the tube and merge the chosen layers together; resize by 55%, add above all layers, and move to the right of the template.

Use paper 1, after a 25% resize, for the purplish pink circle and the pink rectangle.

Use paper 3, after a 25% resize, for the purple rectangle left and purple rectangle.

Use colour FEB4AB to replace the 3 purple rectangles.

Use colour F4143A on the buttercup text. Make sure you delete the small openings for each of the words needed.

Use colours F66E66 and FED1C6 (it doesn't matter which one is primary or secondary) to create a gradient. Add a new layer over the gradient layers, flood-fill with the gradient (see below) and then remove excess.

In Paint.Net, go to your tools bar and select gradient (click to enlarge).
Once selected, you have options. Click the gradient you want to use and then select "repeat wrapped" to get your desired look.

I outline all the gradient layers, and the rectangle layers with a 4 width outline.

Hide your tube now.

Now, I went old school on the pixel text! Add a new layer UNDER the pixel layer: go back to the same tools bar and select shapes. Once there, another set of selections will pop up for you to choose from: select the ones shown below.
Slowly go from one side to another over the upper pixel layer, making sure that you get all of the pixel text into a white box; repeat at the bottom.

I duplicated my text, inverted the colour on the upper layer, used an eraser to erase the wording ABOVE the PINK layer, and then merge together.

I resized my tube again at 65% and used this in my 3 square frames; reduce opacity to 160 and add penta colour dot.

Open element 5, resize by 15% and add above the paper 1 layer; position near the end.

Open element 7, resize by 15% and add below the element 5 layer; position.

Open element 16: resize the first time by 15% (element 5) and the second by 20% (element 7).

Open element 14, resize by 20% and add below the element 7 layer.

Open element 11, resize by 20% and below the element 14 layer.

Open element 17, resize by 20% and below the element 14 layer. Position, duplicate, flip and then erase the pointed side of both before merging.

Work the word art (as shown in the design) before drop shadowing.

Drop shadow all layers and add a mask of your choosing. Crop as close as you can to the mask layer, resize to your liking, before adding your name and copyright. Upload to enjoy.
